Photo Story 

For this assignment I went to a tattoo parlor on Friday the 13th with one of my friends that wanted to get some flash tattoos since there were deals. This was a really fun project because I have been wanting to photograph someone getting a tattoo for a while and they came out almost exactly like I was hoping they would. My vision for this shoot was to capture the nervous excitement around getting a flash tattoo, while also getting the focus and dedication of the tattoo artist. I felt very fortunate that this artist let me into her space so I could practice my art as well. I struggled a little bit with getting the actual tattoo in focus because of the position that the artist was in, as well as the position that I was in but thankfully I was able to get a couple focused exactly where I wanted.
